The Wiggly Circus

Remember how I said that Nicholas' new favorite thing was The Wiggles? Well, just out of curiosity, a couple of weeks ago I looked to see if they were touring. Sure enough, they were coming to our area (just my luck)!
So.... here we are!

Here are Jeff, Ringo, Anthony, and Sam in the Big Red Car. (For those of you who actually know The Wiggles, you may be asking who Ringo is. Well, Murray had to go home with his family, so Ringo filled in.)

Dorothy the Dinosaur

Fruit Salad - Yummy Yummy!

Nicholas said that his favorite part was when Anthony put his hat on Captain Feathersword's foot. (He always remembers the smallest details!) While all the other kids were jumping around and dancing, Nicholas just sat in amazement, soaking it all in.
We had a great, special mommy/Nicholas day!

The Wiggles

I remember when our nephew, Austin was a toddler and loved The Wiggles. At that time, Mike said that our future kids would never watch The Wiggles.

Well, guess what Nicholas' new favorite thing is? Yep, The Wiggles! We watch them On Demand several times each day. Plus, at school they have a Wiggles CD. As soon as Nicholas arrives, he asks his teacher to play it. (I run out before it starts so that I don't get "Toot Toot Chugga Chugga Big Red Car" stuck in my head all day at work!)

Here's Nicholas jamming to The Wiggles - He just loves those songs!

Where are my kids?

Sometimes, it seems like it's a zoo around here - ha!

Reagan's Buddy

Reagan hanging out with her buddy, Emily...

How cute!

Parade

Yippee! Who doesn't love a parade?

Nicholas does! (Look at those glasses! He got them with his Chuck E Cheese tickets)

Reagan does too!

Our little town had a parade that was almost two hours long. I never saw so many tractors in my life!

We affectionately call this guy "Captain America". He rides his bike around town all the time... in all kinds of weather, in his patriotic outfits.

More of the parade

I had to feed Reagan, so I put Mike in charge of pictures. He did much better than Nicholas' birthday (remember those?)

Fire Station Tour

Our local fire department had an open house last week. I decided to brave the 90+ degree heat and take Nicholas and Reagan. Needless to say, we didn't stay long. Nicholas thought that the fire trucks were pretty neat.

He really liked seeing 'real, live firemen'!

God bless the men and women that volunteer for our local fire department. I was sweating like crazy in my t-shirt and shorts. I can only imagine how these guys must have felt!

Sitting Up

Look at this big girl!

She's so proud!

Look what we got...

a new (used) four-wheeler!

You can see that the boys are pretty excited about it!

Weekend in Baltimore

Mike and I spent a great weekend in Baltimore, without kids! We went to see a soccer game (Manchester City vs. InterMilan). This is the second year in a row that we went to a European soccer game in Baltimore with Uncle Donnie, Brad, Janette, Dillion, and Dave.

The weekend was awesome, except for two things...
1. I gained three pounds! How did that happen? We were only there for two days! Oh, yeah - it must have been the Phillips buffet and The Cheesecake Factory.
2. There was an Otakon convention all weekend. Never heard of Otakon? Yeah, me neither - but there were nearly 30,000 people dressed as Japanese cartoon characters walking the streets of Baltimore. There were 1,500 Otakons in our hotel alone! I forgot my camera, but I found these pictures on a website from the Baltimore Sun.

Imagine our surprise!
