Cranes

After the Easter Egg Hunt last Saturday, we got the opportunity to look at some of the cranes that the company where Mike works manufactures. The were three cranes on display. Nicholas started with the smallest one. He loved 'driving' it.

Then, he moved to a bigger crane.

Lastly, he moved to the biggest crane. Look how high he is!

Easter Egg Hunt

On Saturday, Mike's work sponsored an Easter Egg Hunt. Although it was a little chilly outside, we had lots of fun!

Nicholas is getting so brave. Last year, he wouldn't have gone anywhere near the Easter Bunny. This year, he actually let the Easter Bunny put his arm around him!

When we got home Nicholas was kid of confused. He told me that he saw a man inside the Easter Bunny. So, of course, I had to tell him that he was right and the Easter Bunny is just a man wearing a silly bunny costume.

I don't think I was that observant when I was three years old!

Goodbye Car

After seven years, I said goodbye to my Saab yesterday. I know it's silly, but I was sad to see it go. With two kids now, it just wasn't practical anymore... Those rear-facing infant seats take up so much space!
Hey - but isn't Craigslist wonderful? It's the first time I ever posted anything on there. So much better than the 'old days' when we had to use the local newspaper. It only took three days from the time I posted it until the title was signed over to the new owner!
The new owner is a young guy with a three-year old daughter. This car is perfect for them - fun to drive, yet also safe. I pray that they enjoy many, many miles in it (like I have)!

Can you believe it? I just got home from the gym! I haven't been to the gym since before Nicholas was born... that was over 3 years ago!
I have 10 - 15 lbs to lose so that I can fit into my pre-Reagan clothes. I've finally decided that the pounds aren't going to disappear while I sit at home eating Girl Scout cookies (yummy - I love the lemon ones.)
The weather definitely helps me feel motivated. It was so nice today, and it's supposed to continue to be mid-60s and sunny all week!

After a long, cold winter, it was over 50 degrees yesterday! Nicholas finally got to ride his new bike.
He still needs a little practice!

Reagan is 2 months old!

She is a great baby... sleeping for 8-9 hours most nights!

This evening, I got a "Whatever!" from my three-year old. Where does he get this stuff?

New Picture of Kids?

Since Reagan is almost two months old now, I've tried to get a new picture of Nicholas holding her... They haven't turned out too good!

Picture #1: Notice the spit-up running out of the side of Reagan's mouth!
Picture #2: YIKES! Nicholas looks like he hasn't had a bath in 3 weeks (maybe that's why Reagan is screaming!)

So, I guess I'll keep trying. I hope to get a decent picture before they turn twelve!
